USF Wins Opener Against Bethune-Cookman

The USF Bulls (1-0) defeated the Bethune-Cookman Wildcats (0-1) 48-3 on Saturday night at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa.

Byrum Brown went 13-for-20 with 152 yards through the air, while the Bulls scored five rushing touchdowns on 231 yards. Kelley Joiner was the Bulls leading rusher with 78 yards and two touchdowns, while Brown went for 74 yards and a running touchdown in his own right.

The Bulls now turn their attention to a huge matchup against Alabama in Tuscaloosa next Saturday night. Kickoff between the Bulls and Crimson Tide is scheduled for 7:00 PM on Saturday night.
