1.Question: My neighbors’ dog is barking from one until four in the morning every night. It’s a nuisance. Is there anything I can do?
Answer: If you live in an HOA community they can handle this for you. If you do not, you can contact the police and say it is disturbing the peace.
2.Question: If an ambulance hit me, it was not my fault and they don’t pay for my damages, what do I do?
Answer: File a claim under your insurance and your insurance should take care of it.
3.Question: Can I get my New York child support case transferred to Florida?
Answer: Normally, the courts determines by which state your child is currently residing in.
4.Question: Two weeks ago, I got my blood drawn. The person that did it touched a nerve and I’ve been in pain ever since. What can I do?
Answer: If it was done in a hospital, it might be medical malpractice. If it was done by volunteers, it might be negligence. You must prove damages to file a lawsuit.
5.Question: I had two back surgeries last year. One was for a blown disc pinching my sciatic nerve. The second was because they got the bone part that they scraped off from the first surgery. Do I have a case now? Medical malpractice or otherwise?
Answer: To prove medical malpractice you must have a doctor that would testify on your behalf stating that this was in fact malpractice and the cause of your injuries.
6.Question: I was rear ended last week and the person took off. He has no insurance but will be criminally charged for no insurance, leaving the scene of an accident with damages and injuries. What should I do? Contact an attorney or just let it go?
Answer: Your company might fix the damages to your car. As far as your health, you’ll have about $8,000-$10,00 PIP. If you don’t have Uninsured Motorist insurance, that is where it ends unfortunately. It is very important to obtain Uninsured Motorist insurance as these incidents happen very often.
