Back in March of 2020, Margret Ann Cirkowent into a grocery near Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania and thought it would be cool
to cough on everything – including fresh produce –yelling” that she was sick with the Covid. As a result, the store owner pitched approximately $35K in merchandise.
Well, the day of reckoning finally has finally come. Even though Cirko apologized and wished she could “take it back,” she still ended up with a
one-to-two-year jail sentence, which will be followed by eight years of probation, and she was ordered to pay $30K in restitution.
