Here is the link to the show Law & Disorder if you didn’t get a chance to hear it.

1.Question: I was in a minor car accident a few weeks ago. The whiplash from being hit from behind aggravated my cervical spinal fusion. I was just told by the doctor to not do any heavy lifting for the next month. However, I am a tow truck driver and that is heavy lifting. Do I need to tell my boss? Or will that screw me over?

Answer: You should tell your boss. It is not worth jeopardizing your health. This can also affect your case because the other side might argue that you made it worse because you continued to work knowing you were injured.

2.Question: In a domestic violence case, if the accuser doesn’t show up for court, can they still come after me?

Answer: It will depend on the judge, police officers and witness statements, etc.

3.Question: I was in a car accident and I was hit from behind. I have two ruptured discs and two herniated discs now. My lawyer says I can only get $25,000 for the case. Does that sound legit?

Answer: It depends on many variables such as the amount of the policy limits, if the other person had insurance or not, etc.

4.Question: If you work in the construction business and start having back problems where you cannot work anymore, is the company liable?

Answer: It depends if you got your injury from working there.
