A Tampa man was arrested on Tuesday after allegedly being caught stealing from vehicles that were meant for Hurricane Ian repair work.
Officials stated that the man, later identified as 35-year-old Bryan Antonio Cirino Orti, had broken into a bucket truck and a Ford F-250 Super Duty at a staging area for linemen and attempted to steal power tools.
According to ABC Action News, Ortiz was arrested without incident and charged with two counts of burglary of an unoccupied conveyance. Tampa Police Department says that the stolen power tools have been recovered.
He is facing two charges of burglary of an unoccupied conveyance.
