Woman arrested after calling 911 to report McDonald's order taking too long

Lakeland, FL - A woman was arrested after assaulting employees and calling 911 to report that her McDonald’s order was taking too long.

The unidentified 22-year-old complained to staff at a Lakeland McDonald’s before throwing cups and bottles at the restaurant’s employees.

The woman then called 911 to report that the employees didn’t know how to run the restaurant.

The suspect fled the restaurant after a 10 minutes temper tantrum when a relative convinced her to leave.

Polk County Sheriff Grady Judy said in a statement “her actions were outrageous, especially for a place where small children often visit, and she caused about $100 in damages since the items she threw on the floor can't be used for customers.”

The woman was arrested and charged with assault, disorderly conduct, criminal mischief and misuse of 911.
