One of the two had worked there and has since been terminated. NO SOUP FOR YOU!!
Two women in North Carolina have been charged with making multiple false bomb threats against the Campbell Soup Company. Campbell's has a factory in Maxton, North Carolina . . . and one of the women worked there. Campbell's says the woman made the threats while she was an employee, but she's since been "terminated . . . for something unrelated." The other woman who was charged never worked there. No one was hurt . . . but a rep for Campbell's said that each time a bomb threat was called into a factory, all the soup and soup cans had to be thrown out, resulting in a "substantial cost to the company." It's unclear how many threats there were, or WHY the women were making them in the first place. Both women were charged with felony conspiracy and making a false report concerning a destructive device.
