Family Set Camp on Edge of a 280-Foot Cliff, Coast Guard & Police Visit

The Coast Guard in North Yorkshire, England got a call on Saturday afternoon after someone spotted a family's camping tent set up on a small patch of grass just two feet from the edge of a cliff. A cliff with a 280-FOOT drop.

And that area is known for landslides.

An officer says they explained the dangers to the two adults and the child in the tent and got them to move.

The cops also went to the scene to see if the family was breaking any Covid lockdown rules, but there's no word on whether they were.
