Korn bassist Ra Diaz has been reunited with all of his 15 bass guitars after they were stolen from a storage unit in Henderson, Nev.
The recovery resulted following a widespread community effort by both concerned citizens and police officers.
Tattoo artist and musician Dave Chipp helped Henderson authorities locate the stolen instruments after he spotted one at a local music store with personalization and markings he recognized were that of Diaz's, per Fox 5 Las Vegas. Police subsequently recovered 15 guitars, one amplifier, effects pedals and personalized memorabilia.
"A couple weeks ago a storage unit of mine got broken into and tons of my basses were stolen," Diaz captioned an Instagram post on April 22 that displayed the stolen goods. "I want to give a huge shout out to the Henderson Police Department and Property Crimes Unit for their quick response, amazing support and actually being able to recover ALL of the basses! As a musician, I've heard tons of stolen gear and equipment horror stories. I can't believe how lucky I am that mine has a happy ending."
While no arrests have been made yet, the investigation remains ongoing.
Diaz and his Korn bandmates recently performed at the Sick New World Festival in Las Vegas on Saturday (April 25).
