A Skier Saves a Snowboarder Buried under Six Feet of Powder

Francis Zuber‘s headcam shows him rescuing a snowboarder who was buried head down in deep powder

This happened last month on Mt. Baker in the state of Washington. A skier saw a brightly colored snowboard sticking out of the deep powder. He went to investigate and found that the snowboarder was buried head first, but still alive. Here he is digging through the snow and saving the man's life. The whole thing was captured on his GoPro. (He dug several feet down with his hands first to get the guy an air hole by his face, then got his shovel.)

Man is falling headfirst into deep snow. Concept of winterly slippery conditions.
