The Pro-Am Surfing Program revolves around the story of Richard K. Salick. Richard along with his brother Phil, both surfing professionals, founded the Cocoa Beach Surfing Festival over 40 years ago as a way to help raise funds to fight kidney disease and help dialysis patients.
